Forging Aluminum
One of my projects is to forge hooks and coat hangers out of steel and aluminum. I have the materials, I just need the time to do it. I was forging the aluminum for about two hours, but then it shattered into three pieces. Then I tried to forge the steel it took about 30 minutes to get up to temperature but after taking it out and forging for 30 seconds, then putting the steel back in the the fire would not stay alive and could not get it going again.
DIY Coal Forge
The project I am working on right is a making coal forge out of an old gas grill I am going to start on the 1st of March because that is when I have the most time because I don't have school that day. So I will have around six hoours to work on it should be done and working by 3rd.
