For the next couple weeks I will be trying a new way to start up my forge to make it hotter than before so I can start forging steel and making stuff with the steel. This is important because I am moving up the the next size of metal that is the harder than aluminum, the forge for steel has to reach up to 900-1,400 degrees to make steel glow. I have had a hard time getting the forge up to the right temperature to make steel glow. But with my new fire starting technique that might help me get the forge that hot it might only get to 900-1,000 degrees.
